Echelon Systems LLC (“Echelon Systems,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides automation services to small businesses, including SMS messaging, reputation management, and job coordination. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
Information we collect
We collect information in two capacities. As a business collecting information about our own prospective and current clients, and as a service provider processing information on behalf of those clients.
- Contact information. Name, business name, email address, phone number, and mailing address.
- Client customer data. When a client engages us, they may provide contact records for their own customers so that we can operate messaging campaigns on their behalf.
- Communications. Messages you send us and records of messages sent or received through campaigns we operate.
- Usage information. Basic technical data such as IP address and browser type when you visit this website.
How we use information
- To provide, operate, and support the services our clients have engaged us for.
- To respond to inquiries and communicate about our services.
- To send SMS messages where consent has been obtained, on our own behalf or on behalf of a client.
- To meet legal, regulatory, and carrier compliance obligations.
SMS messaging and consent
We send SMS messages only to individuals who have provided consent to receive them, either directly to us or to the client business on whose behalf we are messaging. Messages relate to appointments, offers, service updates, and similar business communications.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors who provide support services, such as customer service providers, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Message frequency varies by campaign. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Opting out
You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a single confirmation message and no further messages will be sent. To resume messages, reply START. For assistance, reply HELP or email us at the address below.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only in these circumstances:
- Service providers. Vendors who support our operations, such as our CRM and messaging platform providers, who are permitted to use the information only to provide services to us.
- Client businesses. Where we operate a campaign on behalf of a client, responses and engagement data are shared with that client so they can follow up.
- Legal requirements. Where required by law, regulation, subpoena, or to protect our legal rights.
Data retention and security
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal and recordkeeping obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by contacting us at the address below. Where we process information on behalf of a client business, we will refer your request to that client and support them in responding.
Children’s privacy
Our services are intended for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above indicates when it was last revised.
